TRAILER
In 1980, a South Vietnamese soldier, with his wife and their young son, made the life-and-death decision to escape from war-torn Vietnam. Though it cost them everything at the time, the legacy has been one of freedom, opportunity and spiritual rebirth.
But now everything gained seems to hang in the balance, as the long shadows of manipulation, propaganda and authoritarian control stretch across their new beautiful homeland of Australia.
“LifeBoat: the untold chapter of the Vietnam war remains a captivating documentary. It preserves stories that might otherwise be lost and invites audiences to consider the true value of freedom. More than a history lesson, it is a testimony to perseverance, faith, and the enduring resilience of the human spirit.”
